Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Shift the selector lever to "R" position.
- Check the signal between display control unit harness connector and ground.
Display control unit Condition Reference value Connector (+) (-) Terminal M51 24 4 At rear view camera image is displayed.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace display control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect display control unit connector and rear view camera connector.
- Check the continuity between display control unit harness connector and rear view camera harness connector.
Display control unit Rear view camera Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M51 24 M23 4 Existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace harness or connector.
- CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT
Check the continuity between display control unit harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Continuity Display control unit Connector Terminal M51 24 Ground Not existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair or replace harness or connector.
- CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL GROUND CIRCUIT
Check the continuity between display control unit harness connector and rear view camera harness connector.
Display control unit Rear view camera Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M51 4 M23 5 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace rear view camera. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness or connector.
