Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK CONTINUITY CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect display control unit connector and around view monitor control unit connector.
    3. Check the continuity between display control unit harness connector and around view monitor control unit harness connector.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness or connector.

  2. CHECK CONTINUITY CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT

    Check the continuity between display control unit harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness or connector.

  3. CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL

    1. Connect display control unit connector and around view monitor control unit connector.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    3. Check the signal between display control unit harness connector terminals.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace display control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
