No.	Component	Function
	Hood switch	Refer to HOOD SWITCH .
	ECM	ECM controls the engine. When ignition switch is turned ON, electronic ignition switch control unit starts communication with ECM and performs the ID verification between electronic ignition switch control unit and ECM. If the verification result is OK, the engine can start. If the verification result is NG, the engine cannot start. ECM transmits the stop lamp switch signal to electronic ignition switch control unit via CAN communication. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Horn (low)	Horn (low) operate for warning vehicle surroundings when VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM operates.
	Electronic stability program control unit	Electronic stability program control unit transmits the brake right switch signal to electronic ignition switch control unit via CAN communication. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	BCM	BCM controls VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM. BCM detects the vehicle status according to signals from each door switch and hood switch. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Left front door control unit	Left front door control unit receives front door switch signal from front door lock assembly. Left front door control unit transmits front door switch signal to BCM via CAN communication. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Upper control panel control unit	Security indicator lamp is located on upper control panel control unit. Security indicator lamp blinks when vehicle security ready status. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Left front Intelligent Key door handle	Left front Intelligent Key door handle detects user operate outside handle operation and transmits Intelligent Key door handle signal to Intelligent Key unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Front door lock assembly (driver side)	Door switch detects door open/close condition and then transmits ON/OFF signal to BCM. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Outside key antenna (left door)	Outside key antenna detects that Intelligent Key is within the key antenna detection area, and then transmits detection status to Intelligent Key unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Rear door lock assembly LH	Door switch detects door open/close condition and then transmits ON/OFF signal to BCM. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Intelligent Key unit	Intelligent Key unit controls the Intelligent Key system. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Inside key antenna (luggage room)	Inside key antenna (luggage room) detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the vehicle, and transmits the signal to Intelligent Key unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Back door lock assembly	Back door switch is integrated into back door lock assembly. Back door switch transmits back door switch signal to BCM. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Remote keyless entry receiver	Remote keyless entry receiver receives key ID signal of window antenna, and then transmits it to Intelligent Key unit (with Intelligent Key system) or electronic ignition switch control unit (without Intelligent Key system). Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Rear door lock assembly RH	Door switch detects door open/close condition and then transmits ON/OFF signal to BCM. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Outside key antenna (right door)	Outside key antenna detects that Intelligent Key is within the key antenna detection area, and then transmits detection status to Intelligent Key unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Front door lock assembly (passenger side)	Door switch detects door open/close condition and then transmits ON/OFF signal to front door control unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Right front Intelligent Key door handle	Right front door request switch detected door lock/unlock operation and transmits door request switch signal to BCM. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Inside key antenna (console)	Inside key antenna (console) detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the vehicle, and transmits the signal to Intelligent Key unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Right front door control unit	Right front door control unit receives front door switch signal from front door lock assembly. Right front door control unit transmits front door switch signal to BCM via CAN communication. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Electronic ignition switch control unit	Electronic ignition switch control unit controls INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (ENGINE START FUNCTION) and INFINITI VEHICLE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (NATS). Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
	Combination meter	Combination meter transmits the vehicle speed signal to Intelligent Key unit via CAN communication. When combination meter receives meter display signal, information displays.
	Brake light switch	Brake light switch detects that brake pedal is depressed, and then transmits ON/OFF signal to electronic stability program control unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION for detailed installation location.
