Work Procedure

RESETTING OIL SERVICE DATA

With CONSULT
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF to ON.
2. Select "Resetting oil service data" in "WORK SUPPORT" for "ALL MODE AWD/4WD".
3. Select "Start".
4. Follow the instructions in CONSULT.
5. Check that "Reset" is displayed.
GO TO STEP 2 .

FUNCTION TEST OF AWD SOLENOID

NOTE:
When performing function test of AWD solenoid, driving situation is required.

With CONSULT
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF to ON.
2. Select "Function test of solenoid valve while driving" in "WORK SUPPORT" for "ALL MODE AWD/4WD".
3. Select "Start".
4. Follow the instructions in CONSULT.
  NOTE:
  When performing actuation, a brief jolt must be felt in the vehicle; this ensures that the entire final drive assembly is correctly filled with oil.
Is "successful" displayed?

YES

WORK END

NO

GO TO STEP 3 .

FUNCTION TEST OF AWD SOLENOID AGAIN

With CONSULT

Perform "Function test of solenoid valve while driving" again.

Is "successful" displayed within 10 times?

YES

WORK END

NO

GO TO STEP 4 .

CHECKING OIL LEVEL

Check oil level. Refer to INSPECTION .

GO TO STEP 2 .
