Removal And Installation: Installation

Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.

• Check that damper coupling is correctly seated.
  CAUTION:

  If damage is replace damper coupling.

• Check that sealing ring is seated correctly.
  CAUTION:

  Never reuse sealing ring.

• Check that harness is not damaged when installing EPS control unit. Also, check that EPS control unit is installed without trapping harness of foreign materials.
  CAUTION:

  • Never reuse EPS control unit mounting bolt.
  • Observe routing of EPS control unit harness.
• Perform adjustment when replacement. Refer to INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT .
