Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK SNOW MODE SWITCH-I

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect snow mode switch harness connector.
    3. Check the continuity between snow mode switch terminals under the following conditions.
      Terminals Condition Continuity
      1 and 4 Snow mode switch ON Existed
      OFF Not Existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

    NO 

    Replace snow mode switch. Refer to EXPLODED VIEW WITH TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  2. CHECK SNOW MODE SWITCH-II

    Check the continuity between snow mode switch terminals under the following conditions.

    Terminals (Polarity) Continuity
    2 (+) - 4 (-) Existed
    4 (+) - 2 (-) Not Existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    INSPECTION END

    NO 

    Replace snow mode switch. Refer to EXPLODED VIEW WITH TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
