Function Requirements, General
- No under voltage or over voltage
- Engine running or drivetrain operational
- The ICC sensor is correctly calibrated and coded
- ICC switched on via the cruise control lever
- Parking brake not operated
- Gear range "D" engaged
- Vehicle is not in backward movement
- Soiling and function test of ICC sensor completed successfullyNOTE: The ICC sensor performs a soiling and function test to ensure proper operation after each engine start.
This assumes that an object is in the detection range which can be used as a reference object. If a malfunction is established or there is no object in the detection range of the ICC sensor, the ICC cannot be activated.
- No active intervention recognized by the Vehicle dynamics control (VDC)
- Standstill coordinator, enable issued (driver door/driver belt buckle and front passenger door closed)
NOTE:
The ICC is coded in the electronic ignition lock control unit.
