Diagnosis Procedure

Check that DTC is not detected with left front door control unit. Refer to DTC Index .

Is DTC detected?

YES

Perform diagnosis procedure on the detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index .

NO

GO TO 2.

Check front power window motor (driver side) power supply and ground circuit.

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

Check power window main switch.

Refer to Component Function Check .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

Check front power window motor (driver side).

Refer to Component Function Check .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5.

NO

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

Replace front power window motor (driver side).

Refer to Removal and Installation .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 6.

NO

Replace left front door control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Confirm the operation again.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO

GO TO 1.
