Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK COMMUNICATION SIGNAL

Turn ignition switch ON.

Check the signal between around view monitor control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

GO TO 2.

CHECK CONTINUITY COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect around view monitor control unit harness connector and door mirror (driver side) harness connector.

Check the continuity between around view monitor control unit harness connector and door mirror (driver side) harness connector.

With automatic drive positioner

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK CONTINUITY COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT

Check the continuity between around view monitor control unit harness connector and ground.

YES

Replace side camera LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
