Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION)
Press the LOCK button of Intelligent Key.
Are all doors LOCKED?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Check Intelligent Key system (remote keyless entry function). Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
- CHECK HOOD SWITCH
Check hood switch.
Refer to Component Function Check (2.0L turbo gasoline engine models) or Component Function Check (VR30DDTT engine models).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure (2.0L turbo gasoline engine models) or Diagnosis Procedure (VR30DDTT engine models).
- CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH
Check trunk room lamp switch.
Refer to Component Function Check .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 4.
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
- REPLACE BCM
Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
INSPECTION END
NO
Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
