Work Procedure (After Replace Transaxle Assembly)

  1. CHECK ??OPERATION LOG' 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    Check Operation Log saved before replacing transaxle assembly, according to the procedure of "Programming" in CONSULT Operation Manual.

    NOTE:
    • Log in to the network, according to the CONSULT screen.
    • For the vehicle that the programming is to be performed, check if Operation Log of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is in Saved Data List.

    Is there an applicable Operation Log in the Saved Data List?

    YES

    GO TO 2.

    NO

    GO TO 3.

  2. PERFORM TCM PROGRAMMING 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    Perform TCM programming, according to "Programming" of CONSULT Operation Manual. Refer to CONSULT Operation Manual.

    CAUTION: During programming, maintain the following conditions:
    • Ignition switch: ON
    • Electric load: OFF
    • Brake pedal: Not depressed
    • Battery voltage: 12 - 13.5 V (Check the value displayed on the CONSULT screen.)
    NOTE: Log in to the network, according to the CONSULT screen.

    GO TO 5.

  3. READ IN TCM PART NUMBER BY ??FAST LINKED' 

    Obtain TCM part number by NISSAN PARTS CATALOGUE GLOBAL Web-FAST, according to the procedure of ??FAST linked' in CONSULT Operation Manual. Refer to CONSULT Operation Manual.

    NOTE: ??FAST linked' allows an appropriate programming by obtaining ECU part number from NISSAN PARTS CATALOGUE GLOBAL Web-FAST even when the part number cannnot be abtained from the lod ECU used before replacing with a new one.

    GO TO 4.

  4. PERFORM PROGRAMMING (FAST LINKED) 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    Perform TCM programming according to the procedure of FAST linked in CONSULT Operation Manual. Refer to CONSULT Operation Manual.

    CAUTION: During programming, maintain the following conditions:
    • Ignition switch: ON
    • Electric load: OFF
    • Brake pedal: Not depressed
    • Battery voltage: 12 - 13.5 V (Check the value displayed on the CONSULT screen.)
    NOTE: Log in to the network, according to the CONSULT screen.

    GO TO 5.

  5. PERFORM CONFIGURATION (WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION) 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    Perform configuration. Refer to Description .

    NOTE: Log in to the network, according to the CONSULT screen.

    GO TO 6.

  6. PERFORM ECU REGISTRATION 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    NOTE: For details, refer to CONSULT Operation Manual.
    1. Select "Immobilizer".
    2. Touch "One of ECU to be replaced" and "TCM replacement (New)" to perform ECU registration.

    GO TO 7.

  7. PERFORM VIN REGISTRATION 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    1. Select "Work Support" in "TRANSMISSION".
    2. Perform "VIN Registration".

    GO TO 8.

  8. PERFORM WRITE CALL ID 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    1. Select "Work Support" in "TRANSMISSION".
    2. Perform "WRITE CALL ID".

    GO TO 9.

  9. PERFORM OIL LEVEL CHECK 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    1. Select "Work Support" in "TRANSMISSION".
    2. Perform "Oil level check".

    GO TO 10.

  10. PERFORM NORMALIZATION AND ADAPTATION 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    1. Select "Work Support" in "TRANSMISSION".
    2. Perform "Normalization and adaptation".
