Front Camera Unit: Task

The front camera unit records pictures of the area in front of the vehicle. These pictures are processed and prepared by the integrated control unit and then used in camera-based driving assistance systems.

The front camera unit has the following tasks:

• Reception of input factors
• Evaluation of input factors
• Controlling functions
• Transmission of initial parameters
