Diagnosis Procedure: 2WD

  1. PERFORM CAN DIAGNOSIS 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    Perform "CAN Diagnosis" using CONSULT.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 2.

    NO

    Perform the trouble diagnosis for CAN communication. Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart .

  2. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULT 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    Perform "All DTC reading".

    Is the DTC related to communication error with ECM detected in other ECUs?

    YES

    Replace ECM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation .
