Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK CONTINUITY CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect display control unit harness connector and around view monitor control unit harness connector.

Check continuity between display control unit harness connector and around view monitor control unit harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK CONTINUITY CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT

Check continuity between display control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL

Connect display control unit harness connector and around view monitor control unit harness connector.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check signal between display control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace display control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
