Paddle Shifter
- The paddle shifter located on the rear of the steering wheel allow a certain gear (1st-7th gear) to be manually selected in transaxle mode M. The driver is also able to manually intervene in the shift operations any time in transaxle modes E and S (temporary transaxle mode M). However, if no more buttons are pressed within a certain period of time, the transaxle control system reverts to automatic mode (during downhill driving or when driving on twisty roads, this time period is extended according to the circumstances).
- When operating the paddle shifter (up/down), a paddle shifter upshift status or paddle shifter downshift status is transmitted to the steering column control module. Then, the TCM receives a paddle shifter upshift status or a paddle shifter downshift status from the combination meter.
