Confirmation Procedure

  1. PRECONDITIONING 

    If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

    GO TO 2.

  2. DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    1. Start the engine.
      CAUTION: Never drive the vehicle.
    2. Turn the 4WD shift switch AUTO → 4H → 4L → 4H → AUTO.
    3. Drive at 20 km/h (12 MPH) or more for 1 minute or more.
    4. Perform self-diagnosis for "ALL MODE AWD/4WD".

    Is DTC "P182A" detected?

    YES

    Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    INSPECTION END
