Component Function Check

  1. CHECK VDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP FUNCTION (1) 

    Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON for approx. 1 second after ignition switch is turned ON.

    CAUTION: Never start engine.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 2.

    NO

    Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure 

  2. CHECK VDC WARNING LAMP FUNCTION (2) 

    Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON/OFF when VDC OFF switch is operated.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    INSPECTION END

    NO

    Check VDC OFF switch system. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
