Work Procedure

WARNING:
Be careful of traffic conditions and safety around the vehicle when performing road test.
CAUTION:
Fully understand the following items well before the road test;
- Precautions: Refer to Intelligent Back-up Intervention system service .
- System description for Intelligent Back-up Intervention: Refer to System Description .
- Normal operating condition: Refer to Description .
- CHECK INTELLIGENT BACK-UP INTERVENTION SYSTEM SETTING
Check the sonar system operation. Refer to System Description .
GO TO 2 .
- CHECK INTELLIGENT BACK-UP INTERVENTION SYSTEM SETTING
- Start the engine.
- Check that the Intelligent Back-up Intervention system setting can be enabled/disabled on the integral switch.
- Turn OFF the ignition switch and wait for 30 seconds or more.
- Check that the previous setting is saved when the engine starts again.
GO TO 3 .
- ACTION TEST FOR INTELLIGENT BACK-UP INTERVENTION
- Enable the setting of the Intelligent Back-up Intervention system on the integral switch.
- Check the Intelligent Back-up Intervention operation according to the following table.
