Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the rear side finisher LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the floor carpet assembly SYMBOL from pawls (SYMBOL and SYMBOL ).

  3. Remove bolts (SYMBOL and SYMBOL ) and remove the rear floor gusset LH SYMBOL .

  4. Turn up the noise suppresser SYMBOL .

  5. Remove bolts (SYMBOL and SYMBOL ) and remove the rear pillar inner reinforcement LH SYMBOL .

    CAUTION: Be careful not to drop the FPCM.
  6. Disconnect FPCM harness connector.
  7. Remove FPCM mounting bolts and separate FPCM bracket with FPCM from the rear pillar inner reinforcement LH.
  8. Remove FPCM mounting nuts and separate FPCM and FPCM bracket.
