DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 

    If DTC "C13AB-00" is displayed with DTC "C13A8-00", "C13A9-00", "C13AD-00", "C13D4-00" or "C13E0-00", first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for DTC "C13AB-00".

    Is applicable DTC detected?

    YES

    Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

    YES

    Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

    YES

    Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

    YES

    Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

    YES

    Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    GO TO 2.

  2. PRECONDITIONING 

    If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

    GO TO 3.

  3. DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    1. Start the engine.
      CAUTION: Never drive the vehicle.
    2. Perform self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".

    Is DTC "C13AB-00" detected?

    YES

    Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .

    NO

    Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
