Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect battery negative terminal.
  2. Disconnect ECM harness connectors. Refer to HARNESS CONNECTOR (LEVER LOCKING TYPE) in Harness Connector .
  3. Remove ECM from the bracket.

    1. Push pawl SYMBOL in the direction shown by arrow (SYMBOL 2) and move ECM SYMBOL forward (SYMBOL 3) to unlock.

      : Vehicle front
    2. Pull out ECM in the direction shown by arrow (SYMBOL 4).
  4. Remove bracket from the engine.
    • Pull out ECM upward.
