USB Interface

• USB interface is located in front of the center console.
• When iPod ^® or USB memory is connected to the USB interface, it transmits the music data and text data in iPod ^® or USB memory device to the display control unit via USB communication.
• When display control unit receives the text data from USB interface, it displays the text data (artist, album, and song title) on the display.
• When display control unit receives the music data from the USB interface, it transmits the sound signal to the AV control unit.
• When AV control unit transmits the sound signal from the display control unit, it transmits the sound signal as follows:

For vehicles without Bose audio system, AV control unit transmits the sound signal to each speaker.

For vehicles with Bose audio system:

• AV control unit transmits the sound signal to the Bose speaker amp.
• Bose speaker amp. transmits the sound signal received from AV control unit to each speaker.
