Diagnosis Procedure

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect drive mode switch harness connector and chassis control module harness connector.
3. Check the continuity between drive mode switch harness connector and chassis control module harness connector.

   +		-		Continuity
   Drive mode switch		Chassis control module
   Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
   M321	3	M96	6	Yes
   	7		5

4. Also check harness for short to ground and to power.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

NO

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

Check the continuity between drive mode switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

Check drive mode switch. Refer to. Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.

NO

Replace drive mode switch. Refer to. Removal and Installation .
