500 ms after the following signal communication status becomes consistent:

  • Starter motor relay control signal
  • Starter relay status signal (CAN)

Inhibit engine cranking

When any of the following conditions are fulfilled:

  • Ignition switch changes to ON
  • Receives engine status signal (CAN)

B26F1: IGNITION RELAY OFF STUCK FAIL

Inhibit engine cranking

When the following conditions are fulfilled:

  • Ignition switch ON signal (CAN: Transmitted from BCM): ON
  • Ignition switch ON signal (CAN: Transmitted from IPDM E/R): ON

B26F2: IGNITION RELAY ON STUCK FAIL

Inhibit engine cranking

When the following conditions are fulfilled:

  • Ignition switch ON signal (CAN: Transmitted from BCM): OFF
  • Ignition switch ON signal (CAN: Transmitted from IPDM E/R): OFF
