Component Inspection

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector M301.
3. Check resistance between combination switch harness connector terminals under the following conditions.

   Combination switch			Condition	Resistance (Approx.)
   Connector	Terminals
   M301	13	16	MAIN switch: Pressed	0 Ohm
   			CANCEL switch: Pressed	250 Ohm
   			SET- switch: Pressed	660 Ohm
   			RES+ switch: Pressed	1, 480 Ohm
   			All ASCD steering switches: Released	4, 000 Ohm

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

NO

Replace steering wheel with ASCD steering switch. Refer to STEERING WHEEL : Removal & Installation .
