DTC Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the steering force motor. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Steering force motor is malfunction. Replace steering column assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .

1. 1. Disconnect steering force control module and steering force motor harness connector.
   2. Check the continuity between control module harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace malfunctioning component.

1. 1. Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to How to Check Terminal .
   2. Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to Intermittent Incident .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace steering force control module. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

Repair or replace malfunctioning component.
