System Description: Notes
- Active trace control function controls the braking utilizing the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit), depending on cornering condition calculated from driver's steering input and plural sensors.
- Active trace control function is aimed to enhance traceability at corners and smooth the vehicle movement to provide confident driving.
- When the PERSONAL mode is selected, active trace control function can be switched ON/OFF through the "Infiniti Drive Mode Selector" on the lower display.
- When the active trace control function is selected OFF, some functions will be kept ON to assist driver (for example, avoidance condition).
- When the VDC OFF switch is used to turn OFF the VDC system, the active trace control function is also completely turned OFF.
- When a malfunction occurs in active trace control function, the master warning lamp illuminates and at the same time the information display in the combination meter informs the driver.

NOTE:
- Active trace control function may not be effective in all driving environments (traction conditions, etc.).
- When active trace control function operates, vibration may be transmitted to the brake pedal, an operation sound may be heard, and a feeling of deceleration may be felt. These are not symptoms of malfunctions and indicate normal operating conditions.
