Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CONTROL MODULE GROUND CIRCUIT
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect steering angle main control module connector.
- Check the continuity between steering angle main control module harness connector and ground.

YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Repair open circuit or short to ground or short to power in harness or connectors.
- CHECK CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (1)
- Ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between steering angle main control module harness connector and ground.

YES
GO TO 4.
NO
GO TO 3.
- CHECK CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (2)
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Check the 100A fusible link (#G).
- Check the harness for open or short between steering angle main control module harness connector E150 terminal 33 and the 100A fusible link (#G).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Perform the trouble diagnosis for battery power supply circuit. Refer to Wiring Diagram.
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning component.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to How to Check Terminal .
- Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace steering angle main control module. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning component.
