Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION)
- Lock/unlock door with Intelligent Key. Refer to System Description .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 2.
NO>>
Check Intelligent Key system (remote keyless entry function). Refer to System Description .
- CHECK HOOD SWITCH
- Check hood switch. Refer to Component Function Check .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 3.
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH
- Check door switch. Refer to Component Function Check .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 4.
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK HAZARD SWITCH
- Check hazard switch. Refer to Component Function Check .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 5.
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- REPLACE BCM
- Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
Inspection End.
NO>>
Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
