Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
- Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM". Refer to Description .
- When replacing the ECM, a new ECM must be used. The functions controlled by the ECM do not operate properly if an ECM from another vehicle is used.
REMOVAL
- Remove battery tray. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Disconnect the harness connector from ECM.
- Remove ECM nuts, and then remove ECM.
- If necessary, remove bolts and then the ECM bracket.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
