Diagnosis Procedure

1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect drive mode select switch harness connector and chassis control module harness connector.
   3. Check the continuity between drive mode select switch harness connector and chassis control module harness connector.

      Drive mode select switch		BCM		Continuity
      Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
      M253	2	M19	80	Existed
      	6		57

   4. Also check harness for short to ground and to power.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair / replace harness or connector.

1. Check the continuity between drive mode select switch harness connector and ground.

   Drive mode select switch		-	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   M253	1	Ground	Existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair / replace harness or connector.

1. Check drive mode select switch. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Replace drive mode select switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .
