Component Inspection

  1. CHECK VVEL ACTUATOR MOTOR 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect VVEL actuator motor harness connector.
    3. Check resistance between VVEL actuator motor terminals as per the following.

      VVEL actuator motor

      Resistance

      Terminal

      1 and 2

      16 Ohm or less

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    INSPECTION END

    NO

    GO TO 2.

  2. REPLACE VVEL ACTUATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Replace VVEL actuator motor assembly. Refer to VVEL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY : Removal & Installation .

    INSPECTION END
