Component Location

No. Component Function
1. Integral switch [VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) OFF signal] Refer to Integral Switch (VDC OFF signal) .
2. Combination meter Mainly transmits the following signals to ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) via CAN communication:
  • Brake fluid level switch signal
  • Electric parking brake switch signal

Mainly receives the following signals from ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) via CAN communication:
  • ABS warning lamp signal
  • Brake warning lamp signal
  • VDC OFF indicator lamp signal
  • VDC warning lamp signal

3. Steering angle sensor Steering angle sensor transmits the steering angle sensor malfunction signal to ADAS control unit, AWD control unit, Chassis control unit ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) and AV control unit via CAN communication. Refer to Steering Angle Sensor .
4. Electric parking brake switch Refer to Electric Parking Brake Switch for detailed component location.
5. Electric parking brake control module Refer to Electric Parking Brake Control Module for detailed component location.
6. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) control unit
  • Control each system, based on CAN communication and ITS communication signals received from each control unit.
  • Transmits signals necessary for control between CAN communication and ITS communication.

7. Chassis control module Mainly transmits the following signals to ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) via CAN communication:
  • Drive mode signal
  • Active Trace Control signal
  • Brake hold status signal
  • Brake hold request signal

8. ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) actuator and electric unit (control unit) Refer to ABS Actuator and Electric Unit (Control Unit) .
9. Brake fluid level switch Refer to Brake Fluid Level Switch .
10. Vacuum sensor Refer to Vacuum Sensor .
11. Front wheel sensor LH (RH similar) Refer to Wheel Sensor and Sensor Rotor .
12. Brake pedal position switch Refer to Brake Pedal Position Switch .
13. Stop lamp switch Refer to Stop Lamp Switch .
14. Rear wheel sensor LH (RH similar) Refer to Wheel Sensor and Sensor Rotor .
