Work Procedure

  1. SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (BCM) 
    1. SYMBOL CONSULT Perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure .
      NOTE: SYMBOL If "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM.

    GO TO 2.

  2. SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (CAN GATEWAY) 
    1. SYMBOL CONSULT Perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure .
      NOTE: SYMBOL If "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM.

    GO TO 3.

  3. SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (TPMS) 
    1. SYMBOL CONSULT Perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure (Before Replacement) .
      NOTE: SYMBOL If "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM.

    GO TO 4.

  4. REPLACE BCM 
    1. Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    GO TO 5.

  5. WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (BCM) 
    1. SYMBOL CONSULT Perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" to write vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure .

    GO TO 6.

  6. REGISTER INTELLIGENT KEYS 
    1. SYMBOL CONSULT For initialization and registration of Intelligent Keys, refer to CONSULT Immobilizer mode and follow the on-screen instructions.
      NOTE: If customer has Virtual I-Key application, reprogram and register it as a third keyfob, and follow same configuration as vehicle Intelligent Key.

    GO TO 7.

  7. WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (TPMS) 
    1. SYMBOL CONSULT Perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" to write vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure (After Replacement) .

    GO TO 8.

  8. WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (CAN GATEWAY) 
    1. SYMBOL CONSULT Perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" to write vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure .

    GO TO 9.

  9. INITIALIZE TPMS 
    1. Perform TPMS initialization. Refer to Work Procedure .
