			Threshold	The internal malfunction in control module is detected.
			Diagnosis delay time	1 second or more
		2	Diagnosis condition	When engine running.
			Signal (terminal)	-
			Threshold	Malfunction of motor circuit is detected.
			Diagnosis delay time	1 second or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Steering force motor
Steering force motor harness connector
Motor circuit (between steering force control module and steering force motor) is open or short.
Steering force control module

FAIL-SAFE

Mode 2

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PRECONDITIONING
1. If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always place ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE
1. CONSULT
  1. Start the engine.
    CAUTION:
    Never drive the vehicle.
  2. Turn the steering wheel quickly from full left stop to full right stop.
  3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "EPS/DAST 3".
Is DTC "C13B3-00" detected?

YES>>

Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

NO>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
