POSSIBLE CAUSE
Steering angle sensor
FAIL-SAFE
The following systems are canceled.
- Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode
- Conventional (fixed speed) cruise control mode
- FEB
- PFCW
- BSW
- BSI
- RAB
- ProPILOT Assist
- RCTA
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC "C1A39-97" is displayed with DTC "U1000-01", first diagnose the DTC "U1000-01".
Is applicable DTC detected?

Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Description .

GO TO 2.
- PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- Start the engine.
- Turn the MAIN switch of ICC/ProPILOT Assist system ON.
- Perform "All DTC Reading" with CONSULT.
- Check if the "C1A39-97" is detected as the current malfunction in self-diagnosis results of "ICC/ADAS".
Is "C1A39-97" detected as the current malfunction?
