CONSULT FUNCTIONS

CONSULT performs the following functions via CAN communication with the active noise control unit.

Direct Diagnostic Mode	Description
ECU Identification	The active noise control unit part number is displayed.
Self Diagnostic Result	The active noise control unit self diagnostic results are displayed.
Data Monitor	The active noise control unit input/output data is displayed in real time.
Work support	Can set active noise cancellation system and active noise enhancement system.
Active Test	Transmits a drive signal to check the operation.
Configuration	The vehicle specification can be read and saved. The vehicle specification can be written when replacing active noise control unit.
CAN Diag Support Mntr	The result of transmit/receive diagnosis of CAN communication is displayed.

ECU IDENTIFICATION

The part number of active noise control unit is displayed.

DATA MONITOR

Monitor Item [Unit]	Description
ANC OPERATING CONDITION [On/Off]	Indicates condition of active noise cancellation operating system.
ASC OPERATING CONDITION [On/Off]	Indicates condition of active noise enhancement operating system.
ENGINE SPEED	Indicates value of the engine speed signal received from ECM.
CONFIGURATION (PARA) [1 - 16]	Indicates configuration result.
Vehicle speed [mph/km/h]	Indicates vehicle speed.

ACTIVE TEST

Test item	Description
ANC TEST TONE	This test is able to check ANC test tone from audio speakers.

WORK SUPPORT

Item	Description
ANC SETTING	Active noise cancellation system can be switched ON/OFF.
ASC SETTING	Active noise enhancement system can be switched ON/OFF.
