DTC Description
NOTE:
The DTC "C13E6-00" may be detected due to the high temperature of engine when starting the direct adaptive steering system after idling the engine for a long time.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- PRECONDITIONING
- If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always place ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

GO TO 2.
- DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
- Start the engine.CAUTION:
Never drive the vehicle.
- Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "EPS/DAST 3".
- Start the engine.
Is DTC "C13E6-00" detected?
YES>>
Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .
NO>>
The temporary rise of steering force motor internal temperature caused the protection function to operate. This is not a system malfunction. Inspection End.
