DTC DETECTION LOGIC

C13DD-00	STEERING TORQUE SENSOR(Steering torque sensor)	1	Diagnosis condition	When engine running.
			Signal (terminal)	Torque sensor power supply voltage
			Threshold	The power supply voltage of steering torque sensor is following condition. Power supply voltage < 4.5 V
			Diagnosis delay time	1 second or more continuously
		2	Diagnosis condition	When engine running.
			Signal (terminal)	Torque sensor power supply voltage
			Threshold	The power supply voltage of steering torque sensor is following condition. 5.5 V < Power supply voltage
			Diagnosis delay time	1 second or more continuously

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Steering torque sensor
Sensor circuit (between steering angle main control module and steering torque sensor) is open, short or ground short.
Steering angle main control module

FAIL-SAFE

Mode 3 (When control module detects a malfunction at startup.)
Mode 2 (When control module detects a malfunction except during startup.)

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PRECONDITIONING
1. If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always place ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE
1. CONSULT
  1. Start the engine.
    NOTE: Never drive the vehicle.
  2. Turn the steering wheel.
  3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "DAST 1".
Is DTC "C13DD-00" detected?

YES>>

Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

NO>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
