Component Function Check

  1. CHECK VDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP FUNCTION (1) 

    Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON for approximately 1 second after ignition switch is turned ON.

    CAUTION:

    Never start engine.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 2.

    NO>>

    Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

  2. CHECK VDC WARNING LAMP FUNCTION (2) 

    Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON/OFF when VDC OFF switch is operated.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    INSPECTION END

    NO>>

    Check VDC OFF switch system. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
