O2 Sensor
- The O2 sensor can not be tested directly but its control signal can be checked. A circuit tester having an internal resistance of approximately 20,000 ohms is necessary to test the circuit.
- Unplug the O2 sensor harness at connector. Insert a fine wire into the vehicle side connector and attach circuit tester. Set tester scale to 2V.
- Start engine and check voltage when engine speed is momentarily increased. Tester needle should deflect from 0 to 8V.
