Major Components

  1. Remove pump lever assist spring, pump rod split pin with washer, and pump lever and split pin with washer. Remove return spring, main spring and slow-cut solenoid valve. Remove fast idle cam and spring.
  2. Remove choke chamber screw and washer. Remove choke chamber assembly and gasket. Remove throttle chamber screw and washer, float chamber assembly and gasket. Remove throttle chamber assembly. See Fig 1 .
