Code 23 - Mat Sensor (Low Temperature Indicated)

Code No. 23 will set if a signal voltage indicates manifold air temperature is below -36.4°F (-38°C) and engine has operated longer than one minute.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.

This step checks to see if code No. 23 is a result of a open sensor or faulty wiring. This determines if wiring and ECM are okay.
