Temperature Gauge Check

  1. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER R & I  . Ensure all instrument cluster electrical connections are disconnected. Connect ohmmeter leads between terminals IGN and UNIT. See Figure .
  2. Resistance should be 60 ohms. Connect ohmmeter leads between temperature gauge terminals UNIT and GND. Resistance should be 206 ohms. If readings are not as specified, replace temperature gauge.
