Vehicle Speed Sensor

  1. Vehicle speed sensor is located within speedometer assembly. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between vehicle speed sensor terminals No. 1 and 2. SeeFig 1 .

  2. Slowly turn speedometer shaft. Ohmmeter should alternate between continuity and infinity. If vehicle speed sensor is inoperative, replace speedometer assembly.
