Code 45 - Oxygen Sensor - Rich Fuel Mixture

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.

NOTE: A restricted air cleaner can cause a Code 45.

This step determines if ECM can respond to lean condition in engine.
This step determines if ECM can respond to lean O2 sensor signal.
