Off-Vehicle Inspection

  1. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove tachometer from instrument cluster.
  2. Using an ohmmeter set to 1 k/ohm-scale, measure resistance of tachometer. SeeFig 1 . Replace tachometer if resistance is not as specified.
