General Inspection
- Ensure proper starting procedure is being used. Visually check vacuum hoses for splits, kinks, and proper routing as shown on Vehicle Emission Control Information label. Check electrical wiring for proper routing, good connections and that battery terminals are not corroded. Check ignition wires for cracking and good connections at coil pack and spark plugs.
- Remove spark plugs. Check and replace as necessary. In very cold conditions, ensure oil is of proper viscosity. Check oil for contamination.
