Brushes & Springs

Check brush length. If length is less than .430" (11 mm), replace brushes. Check condition of brush holders, springs, spring clip, and insulation between positive and negative brush holders. Repair or replace if necessary. Use DVOM and check for continuity between brush holder and base. See Fig 1 . If continuity is indicated, replace brush holder.
