Cruise Control Systems: Description

The cruise control system maintains desired vehicle speed under normal driving conditions. Cruise control system consists of control module, Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), combination switch, and an actuator to maintain vehicle speed. Release or canceling switches are used to disengage cruise control operation. The release switches are incorporated into brakelight switch and clutch switch circuits.
